Costs for raid on polygamist sect in the millions and mounting…

*FACTNet editors note: Should the FLDS be held liable for these expenses? Seems like “pocket change†compared to their holdings… AUSTIN â€" Providing foster care for the 460-plus children seized at a polygamist ranch six weeks ago could cost taxpayers as much as $1.5 million a month, and that does not take into account the millions the state is on the hook for dispatching countless caseworkers and law officers to West Texas in the days after the raid. Week 11 Power Rankings, CMRP, and Weekend Pillow Fight

Get it, Kansas City? I’m saying your team is soft. It’s that time once again, readers. Good news to Brooklynites, though, because the event set at Barcade for Saturday, June 7, is still on. What you really want to know about: Brooklyn Brewery will provide a three-hour open bar at Barcade. Prince is providing apparel, racquets (Wii ones, perhaps?), and shoes for winners.
